Goldhofer's FTV 550 takes the progressive development of wind turbines into account. The FTV 550 is able to accommodate even the largest rotor blades. The ingenious FTV 550 has already proven itself hundreds of times in practical situations for the transport of the latest rotor blade generations and easily masters them.
Especially when transporting extremely heavy loads such as transformers, generators or other industrial components, lateral beam bridges are frequently in demand and to constantly demonstrate their full capacity in difficult infrastructures e.g. on bridges and other load-sensitive substrates. Goldhofer's lateral beam bridges have been tried and tested worldwide and always guarantee a very good payload-to-dead weight ratio as well as maximum safety.
Our tower adapters, with a payload up to 180 tons, are designed for the transport of heavy tower segments. The adapters can be coupled either with a free-turning device or directly between our heavy-duty modules. Thanks to the installed free-turning device, even the tightest hairpin bends, along with obstacles of up to 3 m in height can be overcome.

The intelligent "BLADEX" scissor lift system is a high-performance addition to our pendular axle platform semi-trailer. Complex and costly detours or route adjustments are now a thing of the past thanks to the rail-mounted system: Even tight curves and obstacles are no longer a challenge for "BLADEX". The scissor lift system, with an elevation of 10 m, also sets new standards in terms of flexibility: The platform semi-trailer can vary in the extraction stages when loaded, allowing it to react ideally to every situation and thus relieving the load on the shovel.
With "BLADES", the load becomes the linking element in the configuration. The gooseneck is coupled to the tractor by means of a hydraulically locking rocker arm. The rotor blade root frame can then be mounted on the hydraulically adjustable free-wheeling device. The mobile platform picks up the load by means of a Goldhofer turntable. This ensures maximum flexibility during transport, as the tractor and dolly can also master narrow passages. Once transported, the dolly is coupled to the free slewing device with an adapter and can travel as a semi-trailer until the next operation.
